Which ultimately opens the doors for more gamers to experience this amazing game. While I can agree that morally this is not the game you want to be associated with playing, as a gamer, it really does seem to pack a huge punch underneath all the hype.

And ultimately thats what I’m really eager to see – what ways GTA IV can measure up to both its hype and its intelligent use of applying new game mechanics, ideas, and development of tried and true concepts, all in one franchise.

For IGN to give the game a 10, and for so much praise to go to a game that is highly controversial, the way I see it is, as an adult, I can treasure the pros and cons, for what its worth, and take it with me for its face value of enjoyment, wrapped up in the context of an accumulation of gaming ideas to make an awesome game experience.

Ha here’s hoping I enjoy it – like I told Nooch on his post, my main concern is finding TIME to get in to the game.

I don’t think GTA IV is going to change a lot of people’s minds in the great debate of violence and games, but I think that people will be impressed with what has been accomplished technically with the title in terms of gameplay, animation and AI.
